About Us - PT&L
The PT&L labs works in nanomedicine for drug delivery, at the interface of materials science, applied pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical technology, discovering new therapeutic solutions through nano-objects and scaffolds for wound healing and tissue regeneration.
The main research lines encompass design and development of targeted nanosized drug delivery systems for anti-infective drugs, RNA, DNA, antitumor drugs, design and development of polymeric scaffolds for tissue regeneration, wound healing and drug delivery.
The lab is highly dynamic, multidisciplinary with mainly focus on pharmaceutical technology, biopharmaceutical, and regulatory aspects.
A lab goal is to translate academic discoveries into innovative pharmaceutical products and medical devices to improve therapies, patient compliance, and ultimately patient health.
The lab is involved in various National and European educational programs at University level and hosts students and PhD students for their internship, with the final aim to help them in developing their career and express their talent.
